- Can I pay by credit card?
No, we do not accept credit cards unfortunately only cash. However, there are several 24-hour ATMs around the hostel where you can withdraw cash.
- Can I make payment in euro?
Yes, you can. The current exchange rate will be taken into consideration when you make payment in euro.
- When do I make payment?
Upon your arrival.
- Is there a deposit I need to pay?
If you book through directly via email, there is no deposit you need to pay. However reservation made for the New Years period, Easter period and Sziget period, or bookings with a value over 250 euro we might require a deposit of 20%.
If you book through hostelworld, hostelbookers, or hostelsclub you pay a 10% to these booking sites you pay here the rest 90%
- Is parking possible at the hostel?
Parking is possible right next to the hostel for free at the weekends, from Friday 20.00 until Monday 08.00. Otherwise there is a free car park 500 metres from the hostel building.
- Do I need to confirm my reservation?
Yes, we will get back to you 2-3 days before your arrival for confirmation when you can modify your reservation.
- How and when do I cancel my reservation?
Please make sure that you cancel your reservation at least 24 hours before your arrival by writing and email to reservation@emeraldhostel.eu
- How do I get to the Hostel from the Airport.?
The hostel has its own taxi service. Please let us know at least 48 hours in advance and we can organize the transfer for you. It costs 19 euro/car from the Terminal. If you are travelling on your own there is the Airport Minibus, which costs around 10 euro, but does not bring you directly to the hostel, you might have to wait for other travellers. - Can I arrive late at night or early in the morning?
Yes, we have 24-hour reception so you can check in any time. However if you are coming later or earlier tan indicated in your booking, please let us know.
- Is breakfast included?
No, the breakfast is not included, but we can prepare if you need (4 euro/person)
- Do you have private bathrooms?
No, all of our bathrooms (2) are shared
